Self Defense Techniques

 

#1: Twin front grab -

 

 

#2: Rear bear hug -

 

 

#3: One arm side shoulder -

-All free grab self defense techniques are based on a front grab, rear grab and side or angle grab (for each rank). One primary defense for each grab will be at the discretion of the instructor. Subsequent defense techniques will be shown as training progresses.

Step Sparring

 

2 Step Sparring - Attack with side kick (rear leg) into L-stance knife hand strike.

 

1 Step Sparring - Front kick -

 

1 Step Sparring - Turning kick -

 

1 Step sparing – High punch -

-Defend with L-stance middle block into rear stance high knife hand strike. Counter front leg side kick.

-Defend low block (forearm or knife hand) or circular block

-Defend knife hand or elbow and forearm (close to body) guard.

-Twin forearm block into L-stance punch.

Combination Techniques

 

Fundamental -

 

 

 

Practical -

 

-Front kick (low), Turning kick (high), 180 Back kick (middle), 180 reverse hooking (high) alternating legs.

-Jab then cross into turning kick then 180 reverse then downward kick alternating legs.
